Product detailed description This yerba maté can be re-brewed multiple times compared to classic Piporé, thanks to the leaves and stems being milled in various sizes (from fine powder milling to coarse). This way, the flavor is gradually released into the infusion. The plant is harvested from wild-growing shrubs that are collected once every 12 months. PIPORÉ In the Guarani language, “PI” means foot, “PO” means hands, and “RE” means steps. This formed the word Piporé. According to legend, Chief Santos imprinted his feet and hands into the ground on the riverbank, leaving an indelible mark. He was baptized by the Jesuits with the name Santo Pipó.
